Subcontracting third party vendor

Hello QnASAP,

A Purchase order is done for a subcontractor, but the materials are not issued from our plant instead it directly goes to the subcontrator from some thid party vendor. How is the process handled in sap. Please explain the flow until the invoice of components and finshed good.

but not *activating*?

Substitucion (Tr. OBBH) doesn’t work after execution of program RGZZGLUX

Hello QnASAP Experts,

I executed the programa RGGZZGLUX to solve the problem: FM SETS and error MOVE_TO_LIT_NOTALLOWED_NODATA (Note 939958)

Then, the substituons created in OBBH transaction stopped working.

Could you help me to solve this problem?

Note: when I executed RGGZZGLUX, the result showed the message: Include programs have been generated for substitution and validation Is this related to the problem?

SMSY system landscape data best practices

Dear SAP gurus,

Does anybody know where I can find System Landscape Data best practices/documentation for different SAP Solutions like SAP ERP, Solman, Portal, PI, etc?
I do not want to have info about how to set it up or achitecture etc… just information like:

• Can a technical system have more than one active product versions?For example SAP ERP 6.0, SAP EHP2 FOR NETEAVER 7.0, EHP5 FOR SAP ERP 6.0.
• What product instances should have SAP ERP6.0?

I need this information because Im struggling cleaning the data using LVSM and I get errors like:
“Some software components not covered by configured product instances”
“Product system <SID> has multiple active standalone product versions”

So I can make sure that all data in SMSY is correct which I am not sure…
